Multi Cooker Frequently Asked Questions
Lid: The lid does not have any electrical or electronic components, before first use it can be washed in warm, soapy water and after use to get the unit ready for your next dish.
Cake: If you have used a pressure cooker before please follow the same recipes and method for this multi cooker. Cakes can be baked directly in the bowl, simply line it with a bit of oil or butter. Alternatively you can use Silicone cake moulds, which are preferred over the metal cake tins to avoid scratching of the inner pot. Add a minimum of 1/5 water to the inner pot before placing your cake.
Slow Cooker Recipes: Use recipes from your conventional slow cooker; however use slightly less water or stock in this Multi Cooker since less water evaporates during cooking. The Multi Cooker employs pressure and therefore reduces the cooking time to 99 minutes which in conventional slow cooker it may take up to 8 hours.
Slow Cooker Function: As the instruction manual mentions, Slow Cooker function is achieved by using Cake menu, the maximum time that this function can be set to is 99 minutes. You will achieve the same result of tenderness as you would in a slow cooker cooking for 8 hours, since this multi cooker uses Pressure and generates greater temperatures through its thick housing than a conventional Slow Cooker, the result is as succulent and moist as you would get in 8/9 hours!
If it is required that your slow cooker function completes in 8/9 hours you delay the start of cooking by selecting Manual Cook which with every click will delay the cooking by 30 minutes, to finish your by 8 press Manual Cook by 6.5 hours then press Cake and set the time to 90 minutes, the start of the cooking will be delayed by 6.5 hours and cooking cycle will take 1.3 hours or 90 minutes.
Chicken: The pre-programmed function is set to 20 minutes approx. This is for a full chicken, for portions of Chicken reduce the time. How to change the time: When you press the chicken menu button the LED flashes ‘P20’, whilst it is flashing press “UP +” or “DOWN –“ to increase or reduce the duration of the cooking.
Soup: This menu is pre-set for 25 minutes however this duration can be increased to 40 minutes. Recipes to be followed same as you pressure cooker, if you have never used a pressure cooker please follow the guide for food and water level on page 7 of the manual. The total amount of food and liquid should not exceed 3/5 of the total height of the inner bowl which is clearly marked inside.
Water Collector: Please see below correct positioning of the water collector:
Pressure Range: 0 to 70 kPA or 0 to 10.15 PSI.

Manchester Dogs Home Appeal
The famous Manchester Dogs Home recently issued an urgent appeal across North West TV and Radio for donations of tinned dog food, towels and blankets.
Donations have slowed dramatically in the past few months as the economic recession shows no sign of ending. As a result of this, some of our staff members decided to rally round and help our canine pals. We collected our spare samples of towels and bathmats (for the dogs to sleep on) and went out to buy them food and treats.
Overall the drive was a great success and The Manchester Dog’s Home was very grateful to us for our efforts. Julie, who took our donations down to the dog’s home said that there were also many other people delivering donations of their own at the time. She could see that the dogs were very well looked after (which brought a tear to her eye) and would urge more people to donate whatever small amount they can to such a good cause.
We are currently thinking about our next project, top of the list of ideas at the moment is to adopt a dog from Dog’s Trust! Watch this space…

Europasonic Exhibit at the Autumn Fair
Europasonic exhibited at the Autumn Fair International trade show and reported strong sales on Electricals especially Heaters, Extension Leads, and Extension Reels.
Held every September at the NEC in Birmingham, the Autumn Fair brings together the season’s hottest launches in one place. We took this opportunity to introduce some new lines in our small domestic appliances and re-designed heating range. Customer feedback was highly encouraging and prices were quoted as being market leading. We also showed our new speciality Bulb range which has been manufactured to a high standard using top quality bonding cement which sets our range apart from those offered by our competitors. We’re now looking forward to next year’s show when we hope to build on our success.
